Our Anastasia Cheesecake (Classic graham cracker crust) with Blueberry Sauce infused and garnished with Basil.
Recipe for easy Blueberry Basil Sauce
Slightly less than 1/4 cup of sugar
Dash of salt
1/4 cup of water
1 cup of fresh blueberries
1-1/2 tsp of lemon juice
1 tbsp of fresh basil, thinly sliced (chiffonade)
1 tbsp of butter
Saute blueberries, sugar and salt in butter over medium heat, for about 10 minutes or until softened. Add water and lemon juice and bring to a boil.
Cook 2-3 minutes or until reduced and stir in basil chiffonade
Drizzle over sliced cheesecake.
